Privacy notice
This notice explains how cos-aide accesses, uses, stores and shares Google user data. cos-aide is a private personal operations assistant with access restricted to approved users.
Google data accessed
When an approved user authorises Google Calendar access, cos-aide requests read-only access to calendar information needed to show upcoming and in-progress events. This may include calendar identifiers, event titles, start and end times, location details and conferencing links.
How the data is used
Calendar data is used only to provide the user with a timely view of their schedule and relevant meeting links inside cos-aide. It is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions or training general-purpose AI models.
Storage and security
Calendar events are retrieved from Google when the schedule view is requested and are not persistently stored by cos-aide. OAuth credentials needed to maintain authorised access are stored as encrypted secrets by the hosting provider. Access to the application is protected by identity-aware access controls.
Sharing
Google user data is not sold or shared with advertisers. It is processed only by Google, the infrastructure providers required to operate cos-aide, and the approved user. It may be disclosed if required by law.
Limited Use
cos-aide’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention, revocation and deletion
An approved user can revoke cos-aide’s access at any time through their Google Account connections. To request deletion of credentials or other information associated with cos-aide, email hello@garethsaul.com. Requests will be completed within a reasonable period, subject to legal obligations.
